    I have used the Milwaukee exclusively over the last year. Job after job. I have lots of Milwaukee tools. The m12 battery design is always coming loose and falling out. Everyone on the jobs also have the same problem with m12 batteries. The dewalt won’t come loose. My camera locator is m12 and hasn’t come loose yet. It doesn’t get the same abuse. My Milwaukee 120ft camera uses m18 batteries.

    nice to see someone finally compare the two platforms. To be clear the rapid seal heads don't open as much as the standards for the sake of only stretching what is necessary to make the connection which is essential in cold environments where the connection takes much longer to contract hence "Rapid Seal". Given the brushless fuel motor it makes sense to be a hair or two faster. The DCE410 is significantly bigger/heavier but can do 3/8" to 1-1/2" pex. Both solid tools but the non brushed m12 is a more accurate match up. Here I'd say the M12 fuel the better choice as a tool especially since the kit costs 30 dollars more than the brushed m12 and you get everything but a charger and batteries which is fine since the brushed kit only comes with two 1.5 ah batteries ~ Work Smart

    • @toolrev
      @toolrev 5 дней назад

      Yeah, I ran the DeWalt against the brushed Milwaukee and will post that in the article. Spoiler; the DeWalt is barely faster. I put it against the FUEL in this vid only bc they both claim to be the fastest. Seems the faster the expansion the faster the contraction. I own the FUEL but am liking the brushed Milwaukee more. That said, there is one thing happening tomorrow that could change my mind. Will post that vid here the day after tomorrow if anyone wants to check it out. Agree on the 1.5 amp batteries. Who want's those when you can now get twice the juice in the same package? Always beware the kits. 🙃

    Great review! I’ve been on the fence about whether to buy a cordless nailer or with a compressor for my small shop. I did a quick check and found it’s cheaper to actually buy the tool only from HD, and get the battery and charger from Amazon. For the same $400, you can get two Milwaukee batteries and the charger in that price. Or get an upgraded battery. I was worried that tool + battery was going to be pushing $550-600, looks like you can find a deal under $350 too if you do tool from HD and just the same replacement battery and charger. (No bag though, which I don’t use anyway.)

  • @texasman45
    @texasman45 24 дня назад

    Honest question here. I’ve never used dewalt but looking to start buying. I was told you can’t use flex volt batteries in non flex volt tools. Is this true? I’ve been using ryobi for many years but I’m no longer happy with the product but I’m trying to figure out exactly what to go for.

    • @toolrev
      @toolrev 24 дня назад

      Flexvolt batteries are made to be used with 20V, which I've been doing since they came out with no issues. Some people think if a tool burns out while on a 60V battery it must be the battery but then when a tool burns out on a 20V battery they blame the tool. I wouldn't worry about it. If you go Flexvolt I like the 9 amps the best as they, and the 12 amps, use the more powerful 21700 cells vs. the 6 and 15 amp Flexvolts that use 18650 cells. I like DeWalt for saws and drills and Milwaukee for their nail guns and the m18 FUEL multi-tool. I also use some of their M12 stuff.
